MINUTES OF COMMITTEE MEETING HELD 15 AUGUST 2024 - To be confirmed as a true and correct record.

· A Fiordland Wapiti Foundation Roadshow Is scheduled for Wanaka on 25th September commencing 6.30pm. A fundraiser for FWF - $40 tickets to be purchased online.

· NZ Wild Goat Hunting Competition – Northburn completed, Bendigo postponed, Alpha Burn and Glen Dene still to be scheduled. This meeting is scheduled as a scheduled collection point/day for the collection of goat tails for entry to the national competition. Bring them along in a sealed, smell-proof bag.

· Patearoa Goose Shoot – registrations are now open for Waitangi weekend 2025. 23 received to date (5 from Upper Clutha members) and will close once 50 nominations are received.

· Attendance register – to be completed.

· Monthly raffle – support required.

· HUNTS 2025 – in progress

· Backcountry Huts – commitment required from upper Clutha to assist with upgrade of local huts. Love Our Huts campaign initiated by Federated Mountain Clubs.

· NZDA Board Report – Mark Elliotte, SI Board member reporting.

· Hunting trips – Packrafting Hollyford River

Show and Tell – several members will be displaying their favourite weaponry and talking about their attributes and features.
