What to bring with you
Hi Viz clothing
.223 or larger calibre hunting rifle
Shotgun if shooting with dogs
Night vision gear ( if you have it)
Binoculars
Knife, headlamp/torch
Personal Locator beacon
Camp bed
Sleeping bag
Food for 2 evening meals, 2 breakfasts and 1 lunch
Own liquid refreshments
Gas cooker (if you have one)
Tent ( if you want to sleep outside)
Your usual hunting clothes and gear.
( The Club will provide walkie talkie radios for each hunting party)
Transportation
4w/d truck, sideXside, quad bike handy for getting around
(If anyone needs a lift or has a spare seat in their vehicle please let me know)
Event Timelines
Day 1 - Friday 22 May 13:00
13:00 – Meet at Elephant Hills Station for briefing. Accommodation at Dog Trial Rooms
14:00 – Commence wallaby hunt. Hunters split into 4 teams with pre-allocated hunting areas
18:00 – Night shooting opportunity for team members with thermal and night vision equipment
Day 2 - Saturday 23 May 08:00
08:00 – Full day wallaby shooting
18:00 – Night shooting
Day 3 - Sundat 24 May 08:00
08:00 – Morning shoot
12:00 – Depart for home
